What is TAPS?
Taps is a slow, 24-note bugle call played by the military. It signals nightfall, honors fallen service members at funerals, and marks the end of camp activities.

The Arizona Heroes Memorial
This is a truly special place. Dedicated to the Heroes of not only Arizona, but all over our great nation. Valor. Sacrifice. Honor. Love. Courage. It’s all here. A place of solitude and remembering. A place to honor our Veterans. Our First Responders. Our Healthcare workers. Both living and fallen. They will never be forgotten. I honor this place by playing Taps every week, in front of the flag, rain or shine, without fail. Since December 6th, 2025. AZ Veterans Mem. Cemetery at Marana
This Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Marana is a sanctuary for veterans to have for the their final resting place. Located in the beautiful Southern Arizona mountain ranges with breathtaking views, it sends a very special message. We are home for your loved ones. Your heroes. It is my honor to play Taps at the memorials. It touches my heart in a way I cannot describe.

Honored to play Taps for so many events in Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, Catalina, Green Valley, and surrounding areas. I am not only a member of the American Legion Oro Valley Post 132 Color/Honor Guard, but I have been a member of Bugles Across America for over 30 years. Every event holds a permanent spot in my memories, and I hope, in the hearts of everyone who heard my Taps.
